General Questions• Is HamaraStar a "public" website - open to anyone?
» All websites are "public". However, HamaraStar does not publish any content for general public and the website is also not promoted to general public.
• Can we get the mailing list of organizers or artists / professionals from HamaraStar?
» Sorry, the mailing list is not available to any one for any purpose.
• Can artists & professionals in countries other than Indian also post?
» Sure! HamaraStar is open to ALL artists and professionals from ANY country who are interested in presenting a performance / lecture / program for Desi event organizers.
• I am a music teacher and I present programs in the local community associations. Can I post in HamaraStar?
» Most Desi event organizers look for artists / professionals wo can present a full-length professional performance. If you have such a production, you may post in HamaraStar.
• I am an experienced artist or I have just completed a production which is ready for performance. I have not yet confirmed my tour dates. Can I post about me / my production in HamaraStar?
» Yes, you may do so. This may possibly generate inquiries from event organizers who may be interested in sponsoring your production / event in a city / national tour. But, please remember that you must indicate tentative dates of tour and the country in your posting. HamaraStar cannot accept postings without tentative schedules.
• Can we announce more than one program in the same announcement?
» No! Only one program must be mentioned in one announcement. Please post separate announcement for each program.
• Can we promote any products or services in HamaraStar announcements?
» No! HamaraStar announcements are exclusively for announcing ready-to-perform programs by
artists & professionals (visitng & domestic). If you wish to advertise in HamaraStar, please write to: info@hamarastar.com.
• Can we modify the visiting period and the program text such as the accompanying artists etc. after posting the announcement?
» Sorry, the website does not support any modifications at this time. If you wish to suspend an announcement, the announcer must send in an email request to support@hamarastar.com.
• I am already booked for performance in New York and a few other metro cities. Do I have to announce in HamaraStar?
» Absolutely! The visits of many artists are not even known to Desi events organizers in places like Albany, Harrisburg and Columbus. If you are interested in performing in such places, an announcement in HamaraStar will be very helpful.
